October 5, 2022- Life University (Life U) hosted chiropractic alumni and friends on its campus for LIFE Vision Extravaganza last Wednesday, September 28-Sunday, October 2, 2022.
ATLANTA CITY COUNCIL PROCLAIMS SEPTEMBER 2022 AS LIFE UNIVERSITY FOUNDERS MONTH FOR RESEARCH
September 20, 2022- On Monday, September 19, 2022, the Atlanta City Council President Doug Shipman made a proclamation in their regularly scheduled committee meeting that September 2022 would be recognized as Life University (Life U) Founders Month for Research on the 127th anniversary of the chiropractic profession’s founding.
LIFE UNIVERSITY RECEIVES TWO AWARDS AT CHIROPRACTIC RESEARCH CONFERENCE
August 9, 2022- Representatives of Life University’s (Life U) Dr. Sid E. Williams Center for Chiropractic Research (CCR) recently attended and brought back two prestigious awards from the 28th Educational Conference and Research Agenda Conference (ACC-RAC 2022) hosted by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges (ACC). The conference was held from July 24-26, 2022, in San Diego, California.
DR. CHARMAINE HERMAN ELECTED TO THE INTERNATIONAL CHIROPRACTORS ASSOCIATION (ICA) BOARD OF DIRECTORS
July 22, 2022- Life University (Life U) is proud to announce that Associate Professor Dr. Charmaine Herman, M.A., D.C. has been elected to serve a three-year term on the International Chiropractors Board of Directors. Dr. Herman, an Associate Professor in the College of Chiropractic (COC) Clinical Sciences, was sworn in on July 14, 2022.

May 31, 2022- Life University’s (Life U’s) Charlie Farmer, a faculty member in the College of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies (CGUS), has been named Life U’s recipient of the 2022 Vulcan Materials Company’s Teaching Excellence Award.

May 16, 2022- It was an exciting finish to a thrilling weekend of athleticism for the Life University (Life U) Men’s Rugby team as they captured their first sevens championship in more than a decade at the USA Rugby 7s Collegiate Championships in Fifth Third Bank this Sunday afternoon.

April 28, 2022- The International Chiropractors Association (ICA) is pleased to announce that Dr. Lorenzo E. “Larry” Marchese, Jr. has been awarded the organization’s highest honor, the ICA Chiropractor of the Year, for 2022.
Faces of LIFE- Coach Tony Annan
Native of Newcastle, England, Coach Tony Annan lives in Columbia, South Carolina with his wife, Elizabeth; son, Jax; and daughter, Ella. He played college soccer at Life U as captain, where he earned his B.S in Nutrition and Dietetics in 1998.
“[My time at Life U] was in the years of Dr. Sid [Williams], who looked after and treated his athletes well. We were given multiple resources to do well. It was an excellent time, and we were very successful.
