LIFE UNIVERSITY ATHLETICS ESTABLISHES INAUGURAL HALL OF FAME

Marietta, Georgia, January 30, 2019 – Life University Athletics has opened up nominations for its inaugural Hall of Fame class in order to formally recognize and pay tribute to outstanding former student-athletes, coaches and other individuals who have contributed to the tradition and success of the Life University Athletic Department.

LIFE UNIVERSITY TO HOLD HISTORIC COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY AT LEE ARRENDALE STATE PRISON FOR ASSOCIATE OF ARTS IN POSITIVE HUMAN DEVELOPMENT AND SOCIAL CHANGE CANDIDATES

Marietta, Georgia, January 24, 2019 – On January 28, 2019, 11 students who are incarcerated at Lee Arrendale State Prison, a maximum security women’s prison in Alto, Georgia, will graduate with an Associate of Arts degree in Positive Human Development and Social Change (PHDSC) from Life University (LIFE), based in Marietta, Georgia. The students have earned an average, cumulative GPA of 3.9, and all will go on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.

LIFE UNIVERSITY’S NEUROLIFE INSTITUTE ANNOUNCES INNOVATIVE NEUROLOGICAL TREATMENT RESEARCH RESULTS

Marietta, Georgia, January 23, 2019 – Life University’s NeuroLIFE Institute recently concluded its extensive research on the NeuroSage – a video game type of equipment developed to increase brain function in individuals with neurological deficiencies. After testing this treatment modality, the NeuroLIFE Institute has found that it is not only safe to use, but it has proven effective in increasing brain function, such as cognitive and balance parameters, in said individuals.

LIFE UNIVERSITY WELCOMES JULIE BREZINSKY, NEW DIRECTOR OF DINING FOR CHARTWELLS AT LIFE UNIVERSITY

Marietta, Georgia, January 18, 2019 – Life University (LIFE) is pleased to welcome Bethlehem, Pennsylvania native Julie Brezinsky as the new Director of Dining for Chartwells at LIFE.

Brezinsky comes to LIFE from Levy Restaurants at Mercedes-Benz Stadium where she was the GM of Suites. Julie led the suites team in opening Mercedes-Benz Stadium, as well as hosting more than 150 major events, including all Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United events, as well as the 2018 National Championship game, MLS All-Star game, MLS Cup, SEC Championship and Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl.

LIFE UNIVERSITY ATHLETICS EXCEEDS ACADEMIC MILESTONES

Marietta, Georgia, January 15, 2019 – The Life University Athletic Department set new milestones academically with the conclusion of the 2018 Fall Quarter. The department had a record 266 student-athletes named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll (3.0 or above), with 43 Running Eagles earning a perfect 4.0 in the classroom.

ONLINE COMPASSIONATE INTEGRITY TRAINING COHORTS BEGIN TUESDAY, JANUARY 15 AND WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 16

Marietta, Georgia, January 14, 2019 – Online Compassionate Integrity Training (CIT) kicks off with two cohorts this Tuesday and Wednesday, January 15 & 16, 2019. LIFE UNIVERSITY’S CHASE ZEMENAK NAMED NAIA MEN’S WRESTLER OF THE WEEK

Marietta, Georgia, January 10, 2019 – Chase Zemenak from the Life University men’s wrestling team was named the NAIA Men’s Wrestler of the Week based on his performance from December 31 to January 6 the league office announced Wednesday afternoon, January 9. He is the second wrestler in program history to receive this honor.
