Job Satisfaction and Chiropractic: How Chiropractic is a Healthy Healthcare Career Path
What do people like about being a chiropractor? In short, working in the chiropractic field is viewed not just as a job, but as a positive, healthy lifestyle and, for some, a true calling.
Life University and the Georgia Chiropractic Association Educate Students About Chiropractic Advocacy
Though chiropractic students may not always be aware of it, there is a tremendous amount of labor and political advocacy that goes into protecting their rights to practice in the most fair and advantageous manner possible. The primary channels for legislative chiropractic advocacy run through state and national chiropractic associations.
Faces of Life U: Aaron Guitroz-Lane
“This is my personal theory when it comes to Chiropractic: You have to care for everything that feeds information back into the spine. That communication is not a one-way street. We talk about the nervous system and the sensory input and information that comes from the nervous system, but what about the things that go into the nervous system?”
LIFE UNIVERSITY PRESIDENT DR. BRIAN MCAULAY ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENTS TO THE LIFE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF CHIROPRACTIC ADVISORY BOARD
Marietta, Georgia — November 6, 2025 — Dr. Brian McAulay, President of Life University, is pleased to announce the appointment of the following chiropractors to the Life University College of Chiropractic Advisory Board:
McAulay Minute- Life University Safety Pin (Podcast)
Dr. Brian McAulay: “For chiropractors, the safety pin is a simple illustration of the nervous system and the perfection of its complex design. In the chiropractic metaphor, a closed safety pin represents the nervous system at ease. But perhaps the open pin is an even better symbol of the mission of our College of Chiropractic.
As former Life U president Dr. Guy Riekeman explained when the pin was donated, its open form represents our commitment to serve until everyone on Earth who needs chiropractic care – or a chiropractic education – has access to it and only then will the pin be closed. That’s a bold vision, and it feels almost as if the Universe gave us the perfect symbol to represent it.”
Do’s and Don’ts of Selling a Chiropractic Practice to a Family Member
A well-run and well-loved chiropractic practice is a valuable legacy that many hope will outlive them. To keep a chiropractic practice running smoothly and serving the community for generations to come, it is not uncommon for a chiropractor to sell their practice to a family member, passing it down to a son or daughter that followed in their footsteps, or perhaps a sibling or other relative with the proper licensure.
