How Life University’s Engage Site Helps Students Engage
There is a secret weapon that student leaders at Life University know quite well, and students who want to be in the know of the latest events around campus familiarize themselves with: Engage. Located at Engage.life.edu, Engage is Life U’s handy and easy-to-use portal letting the Life U community know about organization and club events. The site also allows interested participants to register for events that organizations and clubs have posted.
ATLANTA CITY COUNCIL PROCLAIMS SEPTEMBER 2022 AS LIFE UNIVERSITY FOUNDERS MONTH FOR RESEARCH
September 20, 2022- On Monday, September 19, 2022, the Atlanta City Council President Doug Shipman made a proclamation in their regularly scheduled committee meeting that September 2022 would be recognized as Life University (Life U) Founders Month for Research on the 127th anniversary of the chiropractic profession’s founding.

Founders Day is officially September 18, which celebrates the birth of Chiropractic and the founders who began this extraordinary journey we call the chiropractic profession. This begs the question, however, of why students who are not studying Chiropractic would want to attend this celebration. These College of Graduate and Undergraduate Students have an excellent reason for attending.

Online education had already been a growing focus and priority in modern universities like Life University (Life U) prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, but the sudden lockdown brought the need for robust online education into focus. Life U’s College of Online Education (COE) has grown leaps and bounds to accommodate the increasing demand for quality distance learning and will continue to do so.

Chiropractic adjustments are the basis of most chiropractic practices, offering alleviation and prevention of pain symptoms to patients. However, many people who have not had the benefit of chiropractic education might find the prospect of a chiropractic adjustment a bit confusing without at least a basic understanding of the physical ramifications and goals that their practitioner has in mind.
LIFE UNIVERSITY RECEIVES TWO AWARDS AT CHIROPRACTIC RESEARCH CONFERENCE
August 9, 2022- Representatives of Life University’s (Life U) Dr. Sid E. Williams Center for Chiropractic Research (CCR) recently attended and brought back two prestigious awards from the 28th Educational Conference and Research Agenda Conference (ACC-RAC 2022) hosted by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges (ACC). The conference was held from July 24-26, 2022, in San Diego, California.
DR. CHARMAINE HERMAN ELECTED TO THE INTERNATIONAL CHIROPRACTORS ASSOCIATION (ICA) BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Life University (Life U) is proud to announce that Associate Professor Dr. Charmaine Herman, M.A., D.C. has been elected to serve a three-year term on the International Chiropractors Board of Directors. Dr. Herman, an Associate Professor in the College of Chiropractic (COC) Clinical Sciences, was sworn in on July 14, 2022.

“The coolest thing about Life U is that it is very small. It’s fun because you get to meet a ton of people, and [a high percentage of students] are in the D.C. program. The coolest part is you always have something to talk about because many people are studying the same thing,” said Jordy Carle.
