Faces of LIFE- Macy Cummins

Native to Aurora, Colorado, Macy Cummins is no stranger to chiropractic care as her dad is a chiropractor and alumnus of Life Chiropractic College West (Life West)*. Cummins’ conviction to pursue a career in Chiropractic solidified in eighth grade after attending her cousin’s graduation from the D.C. program at Life West. “I just knew that this community and the philosophy of Chiropractic that comes out of the school is where I needed to be,” said Cummins.

I love how many people are in the same [chiropractic] program. You will see people from first quarter all the way up to 14th quarter. We are all in the same boat, all rooting each other on, and we are in it together in the same mission – just being able to walk on campus and have people there supporting you.

Club Spotlight: Blair Upper Cervical Technique Club

The Blair Upper Cervical (Blair UC) Technique is a specific system of analyzing and adjusting the upper cervical vertebrae of the spinal column. These vertebrae can misalign in such a way as to interfere with the brainstem and spinal cord as they exit through the skull into the neural canal. Special attention is given to the first two cervical vertebrae, the atlas and axis, as they are the most freely moveable vertebrae in the spinal column and the ones most commonly misaligned.

November 11, 2022- Life University, in partnership with the Integrative Health Policy Consortium (IHPC), is pleased to announce the establishment of an annual, invited lecture series, focusing on the goals and values of each organization from the perspective of Lasting Purpose: to love for the sake of loving, to serve for the sake of serving, to give for the sake of giving and to do for the sake of doing from a position of universal abundance, seeking nothing in return.

The lectureship series has been created by the partners in honor of Gerard W. Clum, D.C.
