LIFE UNIVERSITY RECEIVES TWO AWARDS AT CHIROPRACTIC RESEARCH CONFERENCE

August 9, 2022- Representatives of Life University’s (Life U) Dr. Sid E. Williams Center for Chiropractic Research (CCR) recently attended and brought back two prestigious awards from the 28th Educational Conference and Research Agenda Conference (ACC-RAC 2022) hosted by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges (ACC). The conference was held from July 24-26, 2022, in San Diego, California.

DR. CHARMAINE HERMAN ELECTED TO THE INTERNATIONAL CHIROPRACTORS ASSOCIATION (ICA) BOARD OF DIRECTORS

July 22, 2022- Life University (Life U) is proud to announce that Associate Professor Dr. Charmaine Herman, M.A., D.C. has been elected to serve a three-year term on the International Chiropractors Board of Directors. Dr. Herman, an Associate Professor in the College of Chiropractic (COC) Clinical Sciences, was sworn in on July 14, 2022.

I think that what made my first quarter at Life U memorable was meeting a lot of upper quarter students who are very influential and introducing me to different techniques and different clubs and seminars. And as I continued on with school, I was able to start narrowing down what I actually liked and what I didn’t like and start making my path a little bit more specific.

According to an article by the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress (F4CP) titled “How to Triumph over Tech Neck”, Tech Neck is the shortened form of a relatively recently observed phenomenon dubbed “Tech Neck Syndrome”. Don’t let the cute name fool you, because neck strain is a serious matter that should be addressed sooner rather than later.

Faces of LIFE- Khyle Mingo

Khyle Mingo and his six siblings grew up in the coastal town of Milford, Connecticut. Mingo has the notable distinction of being the oldest boy, with only one sister older than him. His family lived in Connecticut until he was 16 before moving to Charleston, South Carolina. After high school, Mingo earned two bachelor’s degrees from Coastal Carolina University, one in Science and one in Public Health.

Faces of LIFE- Dr. Tom Le Lievre

Dr. Tom Le Lievre was born in Jersey in the Channel Islands, a self-governing dependency of the United Kingdom (UK). As a student-athlete, Dr. Le Lievre became a patient of Jean-Pierre Meersseman, D.C., the former Medical Team Director at AC Milan football club, and developed an interest in Chiropractic through that experience.
