ATLANTA CITY COUNCIL PROCLAIMS SEPTEMBER 2022 AS LIFE UNIVERSITY FOUNDERS MONTH FOR RESEARCH

September 20, 2022- On Monday, September 19, 2022, the Atlanta City Council President Doug Shipman made a proclamation in their regularly scheduled committee meeting that September 2022 would be recognized as Life University (Life U) Founders Month for Research on the 127th anniversary of the chiropractic profession’s founding.

LIFE UNIVERSITY RECEIVES TWO AWARDS AT CHIROPRACTIC RESEARCH CONFERENCE

August 9, 2022- Representatives of Life University’s (Life U) Dr. Sid E. Williams Center for Chiropractic Research (CCR) recently attended and brought back two prestigious awards from the 28th Educational Conference and Research Agenda Conference (ACC-RAC 2022) hosted by the Association of Chiropractic Colleges (ACC). The conference was held from July 24-26, 2022, in San Diego, California.

DR. CHARMAINE HERMAN ELECTED TO THE INTERNATIONAL CHIROPRACTORS ASSOCIATION (ICA) BOARD OF DIRECTORS

July 22, 2022- Life University (Life U) is proud to announce that Associate Professor Dr. Charmaine Herman, M.A., D.C. has been elected to serve a three-year term on the International Chiropractors Board of Directors. Dr. Herman, an Associate Professor in the College of Chiropractic (COC) Clinical Sciences, was sworn in on July 14, 2022.

Faces of LIFE- Destinee Rivera

As a child, some might have mistaken Destinee Rivera for a fish for all the time she spent in the water and on the beach growing up in Richmond Hill, Georgia. Her respect and admiration for the natural world were apparent from early on, spending many afternoons on the waterfront and by the marsh watching aquatic wildlife in its natural state and taking in beautiful sunsets.
