Marietta, Georgia, May 21, 2021 – The Life University (LIFE) Athletics Department honored the University’s 2020-21 student-athletes, teams and coaches at its fourth annual awards banquet on Thursday, May 20, 2021.
LIFE UNIVERSITY WOMEN’S TRACK & FIELD WINS OUTDOOR MID-SOUTH CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP
Williamsburg, Kentucky, April 27, 2021 – Life University (LIFE) is proud to announce that its Women’s Track & Field team won the first Outdoor Mid-South Conference Championship in program history on Monday, April 26, 2021. Running Eagles student-athletes also claimed eight individual titles and eight other All-Conference honors; Head coach Dominic Demeritte earned the Mid-South Conference Coach of the Year award; and Bria Sands took home MSC Athlete of the Year.
LIFE UNIVERSITY COMPETITIVE CHEER RECEIVES BID FOR NAIA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
Marietta, Georgia , March 1, 2021 – Last night, the NAIA’s national office announced that the Life University competitive cheer squad had earned one of only three at-large bids to the NAIA Competitive Cheer & Dance National Championships in Davenport, Iowa, standing as the first bid received in program history.
LIFE UNIVERSITY MEN’S WRESTLING DOMINATES ON PATH TO MSC SOUTH TOURNAMENT TITLE
Marietta, Georgia, February 23, 2021 – The No. 3 nationally-ranked Life University men’s wrestling team dominated its way to the Mid-South Conference (MSC) South Division Tournament title with seven conference champions, earning a clean sweep of the postseason awards with all 12 grapplers qualifying for the NAIA National Tournament.
LIFE U ATHLETICS TO RESTORE MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY AND MEN’S TRACK IN 2021-22
Marietta, Georgia, July 15, 2020 – The Life University Athletic Department has officially announced the addition of Men’s Cross Country and Men’s Track and Field teams for the 2021-22 academic year.

Dr. Shawn Cradit, Associate Professor in the Sport Health Science & Athletic Training programs at Life University (LIFE), interviewed with several schools before coming to work at LIFE in March 2019 because she felt at home. “The campus really stuck out to me. It wasn’t so big that you felt like you were going to get lost. When I got home, and I was talking to my boyfriend and my sisters, I just kept coming back to how the campus was intimate.”

Baretto started at LIFE in Fall 2019. He has explored different clubs such as “Thompson Technique,” “NUCCA” and others. He’s also attended different seminars where he learned many exercises for the mind and body that he hopes to use in his future practice.
LIFE U WOMEN’S RUGBY CAPTAIN SPIFF SEDRICK NAMED MA SORENSON AWARD WINNER
Marietta, Georgia, May 7, 2020 – Life University women’s rugby senior captain Spiff Sedrick was recently named the 2020 MA Sorensen Award winner, which is given to the best women’s collegiate rugby player in America.

“A typical day is always busy. We don’t go nine to five, we often work 12 to 16-hour days. We’ve got to love our families and spouses and kids for understanding that,” said Sam Clark, Head Coach for Women’s Soccer at Life University, describing her average day at work. “But there is no typical day, and I think that is one of the most intriguing and most wonderful things about athletics – it’s always a new challenge.”
LIFE UNIVERSITY SWIMMING POSTS HISTORIC WEEKEND AT NAIA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Knoxville, Tennessee, March 9, 2020 – The Life University women’s and men’s swimming programs continued to climb in national placement this weekend at the 2020 NAIA National Championships hosted by the University of Tennessee’s Allan Jones Aquatic Center. The weekend was headlined with Life U’s first ever National Runner-Up in freshman Dora Reizinger.
