Ms. Celine Muller, M.S., and Megan Cronje represented Life U, presenting their research at the national conference. Life U Associate Faculty member Paula Billups, Ph.D., served as Muller’s faculty mentor and attended NCUR in support of the students.

Sacramento, California — April 13, 2026 — Life University’s (Life U) Women’s Rugby team claimed the CRAA Division I XVs National Championship on April 11, defeating BYU 40–14 at Heart Health Park.

Today we are exploring a team at Life U for this special edition of Faces of LIFE. This team’s entire goal is to serve every student and faculty at Life U. This team of three are members of the Academic Learning Center (ALC), and the goal of this department is to provide resources for Life U students to be successful in their academic careers.
Faces of LIFE: Alexis Martinez
Life University is right in Alexis Martinez’s backyard. Born in Chicago, the Bachelor of Science in Dietetics student has lived in Cobb County, Georgia her whole life. When she started looking for a nutrition degree program, Martinez discovered LIFE was the perfect fit.
Faces of LIFE: Dr. Jacob Glazier
Dr. Jacob W. Glazier is an adjunct professor in the Department of General Education and Psychology. He is originally from Illinois and grew up in a small farming community. Dr. Glazier’s father and uncle were both farmers. He studied for a M.S. Ed. In Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Western Illinois University. Eventually, he found his way to Carrolton, Georgia where he studied at the University of West Georgia to become a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology with an emphasis in Consciousness and Society.
Faces of LIFE: Jaiden Ouzts
Jaiden Ouzts graduated from Life University in December 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and is currently applying to Dietetic Internship programs. Ouzts is from Greenville, South Carolina and has traveled quite a bit around the U.S.
