Faces of LIFE- Amber Sproule
Amber Sproule grew up in Middle Georgia, and she is the second oldest of five kids. Sproule’s older sister graduated last quarter from the chiropractic program at Life University (Life U), so a vitalistic approach to education clearly runs in the family. “Life University caught my eye because of the holistic and vitalistic values and because it is one of the very few colleges in Georgia that offers dietetics as a degree. I also loved the peaceful campus environment and that it was close to my family,” said Sproule.
A World of Flavors Courtesy of National Nutrition Month
The theme for 2022 is “Celebrate a World of Flavors.” Life U is making a point to celebrate with delicious and diverse flair, holding several events to kick off this amazing month of health and wellness. The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (also known as Eat Right) promotes National Nutrition Month annually each March to invite people “to learn about making informed food choices and developing healthful eating and physical activity habits.”

My 1st Quarter: Tatum Johnson
Take every opportunity you can. Join the clubs you never thought you liked. One time I sat in on the Nutrition Club with one of my teammates and even though I am not in any dietetics classes, I thought it was so fun. So, make sure to try every opportunity even if you don’t think it’s what you wanted. Just try it, it’s going to be okay.

Communicating with your professors is important, and that it’s not going to be easy. It’s definitely going to get harder as you go, but that’s not a reason to stop or to quit; the reward is greater at the end.
