Faces of LIFE- Cynthia Cardenas

From Lockport, Illinois, Cynthia Cardenas grew up with a large family, as her parents both have a fair number of siblings. In fact, Cardenas has three siblings herself. In her future dreams for her professional life, Cardenas has juggled between interests in both Chiropractic and veterinary practice. Cardenas had been exposed to chiropractic care personally since the age of 7, receiving care for sports-related back pain.

Faces of LIFE- Destinee Rivera

As a child, some might have mistaken Destinee Rivera for a fish for all the time she spent in the water and on the beach growing up in Richmond Hill, Georgia. Her respect and admiration for the natural world were apparent from early on, spending many afternoons on the waterfront and by the marsh watching aquatic wildlife in its natural state and taking in beautiful sunsets.

If you were to put a pin in a map that shows where all the students enrolled in Life U are from, the pins would dot all over as a colorful testament to our diverse campus culture. Many of those pins would land in Puerto Rico, like it would for Sherybel Berrios-Ramos, who is from the capital of San Juan.

LIFE UNIVERSITY’S BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN BIOLOGY RANKED AMONG 15 BEST ONLINE BIOLOGY DEGREES

Marietta, Georgia, January 22, 2021 – Life University (LIFE) is proud to announce that its Bachelor of Science in Biology degree, offered both on campus and through the College of Online Education (COE), has been named one of the “15 Best Online Bachelor’s in Biology for 2021.” LIFE is ranked No. 11 on the list, which was released January 21 by Bachelor’s Degree Center.

Melody Zurawski

Melody Zurawski is a Doctor of Chiropractic student at Life University from Nashville, Tennessee. At LIFE she’s been inspired by the big picture and realized she can do more than she thought to leave a Lasting Purpose. “It’s been encouraging seeing people serve and ask for help, and hearing from professors about how the University has positively impacted their lives,” she said.

Christian Barreto

Baretto started at LIFE in Fall 2019. He has explored different clubs such as “Thompson Technique,” “NUCCA” and others. He’s also attended different seminars where he learned many exercises for the mind and body that he hopes to use in his future practice.
