Marietta, Georgia, May 20, 2021 – Life University (LIFE) is proud to announce that a new member has been elected to its Board of Trustees. Dr. Roxanne Kemp was appointed to the Board at its April 2021 quarterly meeting.

Life University’s Board of Trustees comprise some of the greatest minds in Chiropractic, finance, law and education. Their combined experience has helped build LIFE into a leader in vitalistic healthcare education.

Dr. Kemp holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas and a doctor of philosophy in technology from Capitol Technology University in Laurel, Maryland. She has also completed a graduate program in educational leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas, doctoral studies in general psychology from Capella University and doctoral studies in business at the University of Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas.

Dr. Kemp is a Certified Accessibility Specialist with the Texas Distance Learning Association (TxDLA) and a Certified Blackboard Learn Course Delivery Administrator with Blackboard Incorporated. She currently serves as the Dean and Chief Academic Leader for EC-Council University and as a consultant and professor to several universities.

Dr. Kemp is also an advocate for quality education and for helping educational institutions better serve students through technology and enhanced learning. Before a career in education, she served in the United States Army as a communications specialist and later pursued a career in software and technology sales, working for several Fortune 500 companies. Since embarking on a career in education, Dr. Kemp has served at multiple levels of educational leadership in roles such as chief academic officer, dean, director, campus director and academic coordinator.

Founded in 1974, Life University is a health sciences institution most known for its Doctor of Chiropractic program, the largest single-campus chiropractic program in the world. Undergraduates can pursue 15 undergraduate degrees as well as a pre-chiropractic, degree-seeking pathway. Three graduate degrees are available, encompassing areas of sport health science, clinical nutrition and positive psychology. Some degree programs are offered to distance learners through the College of Online Education.
