Angela Getter
“Ask yourself why you are in this space,” Getter said. “How are we going to get you to that why? You have to be open to being counseled around that because it is never just about the money; it is about your purpose. If your purpose is in sync with the donor’s perspective, they are going to support you because they have been where you are.” To that end, she shared that Life University’s core values that are engrained in the campus culture – Integrity, Vitalism and Lasting Purpose – help students get clear on their position and purpose and help them find that “why” they’ve been looking for.

For Nick Shelby, becoming a chiropractor is a family affair. Shelby’s father and uncle both graduated from Life University. Regardless of that history, Shelby made the decision to pursue the profession on his own.

It wasn’t so big that you felt like you were going to get lost. When I got home, and I was talking to my boyfriend and my sisters, I just kept coming back to how the campus was intimate.”
Christian Barreto
Baretto started at LIFE in Fall 2019. He has explored different clubs such as “Thompson Technique,” “NUCCA” and others. He’s also attended different seminars where he learned many exercises for the mind and body that he hopes to use in his future practice.

Shay Coffey
“I love the philosophy that LIFE has where if you walk by someone, you speak,” shared Coffey. “Every relationship starts with that first conversation. A couple of hellos can lead to a lunch, and a lunch can lead to a lifetime friendship.”
Bonnie Archbold
One thing Archbold wants to tell the Life University Community is, “I appreciate you guys for your smiling faces and your positive feedback and positive attitude. I can feel the love that’s on campus and I can feel the love that’s in this community. I think we are a true community striving to make things happen together and it’s a beautiful thing.”
Alison Ivey
“When I talk to new students coming in, I say you just won’t believe the vibe that we have on campus. It is so good and positive and uplifting, and I am trying to contribute to that vibe.” Ivey said. “We are a part of something really good on this campus that I hope we don’t take for granted. It is a really good place to be.”
