Marietta, Georgia – March 26, 2026- Life University (Life U) proudly announces the induction of six outstanding students into the Lasting Purpose Chapter of Mortar Board National Honor Society, a premier collegiate honor society that recognizes exceptional achievement in scholarship, leadership and service. The Lasting Purpose Chapter is the newest chapter of Mortar Board National Honor Society, first chartered in November 2023.
The newly inducted members represent the highest standards of academic excellence (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3 and 90 hours of completed coursework) and community engagement. Mortar Board, founded in 1918, is dedicated to promoting equal opportunities in education and fostering leadership among college students. Membership is considered one of the most significant honors for undergraduate and graduate students nationwide.

Founded in 1974, Life University is a health sciences institution most known for its College of Chiropractic. Undergraduates can pursue more than a dozen undergraduate degrees; a pre-chiropractic, degree-seeking pathway; and premier graduate degrees within the College of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies.
