As we celebrate Black History Month, it is an excellent time to recognize and reflect on the strides made to support diversity in the chiropractic profession, as well as acknowledge opportunities for growth in this area.
Celebrating Juneteenth at Life U: A Day of Reflection, Freedom and Community
Despite a rainy forecast that moved festivities indoors, the Life University community came together in a vibrant and heartfelt celebration of Juneteenth. Hosted on June 12 in the Nutrition Demonstration Kitchen inside Socrates Café, the event drew an impressive 187 attendees – students, faculty and staff alike – all eager to honor this vital piece of American history.
Celebrating Chiropractic Associations: Why Chiropractors Should Join Them
Modern chiropractors owe much to the tireless work of chiropractic associations. In fact, without the efforts of chiropractic associations over the profession’s storied history, it is likely the profession would not have survived and thrived as it has. Historically, many chiropractic associations were formed out of a necessity to define chiropractic principles, defend chiropractors’ rights to practice and fight for advancement of the chiropractic profession.
