Devyn Gomez is a B.B.A student and Women’s Wrestler for Life University. She grew up as a a jack of all trades when it came to sports, trying her hand at gymnastics, dance and countless others. But wrestling quickly captured her heart. Now as this All-American looks to her career future, she has big dreams of working in sports media, perhaps even ESPN one day. She already has some good practice under her belt, conducting interviews with student athletes on behalf of Life U and shadowing our Sports Information Director.

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Peyton Prussin has lived the life of a determined student athlete for a long time, having competed in High School Girl’s Wrestling for Arbor View High School for four years.
Faces of LIFE: Zoe Wight
Zoe Wight attended Gulf Breeze High School in Pensacola, Florida and competed with her school’s wrestling team. In a funny twist of fate, Wight skipped her high school graduation to compete in a Southeastern wrestling conference and ended up being recruited by Life U’s first Women’s Wrestling Head Coach James Paul.

Stamford, Connecticut– January 26, 2023 – WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) revealed its third class of 15 collegiate athletes into its acclaimed Next in Line program, including Life University (Life U) women’s wrestler Peyton Prussin.

I am currently in my second quarter at Life U. In my first quarter, I would have to say attending the different activities that [Life U] offers made it memorable. I went to the Philosophy Night with a teammate of mine. It allowed me to see different things about Chiropractic that I hadn’t really thought about before.
