ESGR Partnership:

Life University has recently achieved a remarkable milestone by becoming the fifth university to partner with ESGR at the national level. ESGR, a Department of Defense office, plays a crucial role in developing and promoting supportive work environments for Service members in the Reserve Components. Through outreach, recognition and educational opportunities, ESGR increases awareness of applicable laws and assists in resolving conflicts between Service members and their employers. This partnership underscores Life U’s commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive campus environment for Veterans.

Initiatives to Increase Student-Veteran Enrollment:

Life U understands the unique challenges faced by student-Veterans and is dedicated to increasing their enrollment through targeted initiatives. These initiatives include streamlined admissions processes, personalized academic counseling and the availability of resources tailored to the needs of Veterans. By actively reaching out to this demographic and addressing their specific concerns, Life U aims to create a campus atmosphere that recognizes and honors the sacrifices made by those who have served.

Enhancing Veteran-Patient Care:

In addition to academic support, Life U is committed to promoting the overall well-being of Veterans by improving their healthcare services. The University actively engages in initiatives to enhance Veteran-patient care, ensuring that those who have served receive the healthcare attention and support they deserve. Through our Life Chiropractic Centers that offer chiropractic care, spinal decompression, massage therapy and more, along with our world-class NeuroLIFE Institute that specializes in applied clinical neuroscience, Life U strives to make a positive impact on the health of our Veteran community. Not only do we prioritize their physical health, but we also recognize the vital responsibility to provide comprehensive mental health services for our Veterans. Our Counseling Services Department offers a wide-range of free in-person and over-the-phone therapy sessions, as well as numerous off-campus resources with 24/7 access to assistance.

Connecting Students with Service Member-Education Opportunities:

Life U takes pride in connecting its enrolled students with valuable opportunities available to Service members. The University actively promotes programs such as the Health Professional Scholarship Program, S.R.O.T.C. and Veterans educational benefits. By bridging the gap between education and military service, Life U empowers its students to pursue their academic and professional goals while serving their country.

Introducing the Veterans Affairs and Engagement Director:

To further solidify its commitment to Veteran support, Life U is thrilled to announce the creation of the Veterans Affairs and Engagement Director position. This dedicated role within the University’s staff will focus on providing comprehensive support for Veteran students, addressing their unique needs and fostering a sense of community. The Veterans Affairs and Engagement Director will serve as a valuable resource for Veterans navigating academic, personal and professional challenges, ensuring a smooth and successful transition to civilian life.

Yellow Ribbon Program:

Life U is also proud to participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program, a vital component of the Post-9/11 GI Bill. This program allows eligible Veterans to attend private institutions like Life University at little to no out-of-pocket cost. By actively participating in the Yellow Ribbon Program, Life U demonstrates its commitment to making quality education accessible to those who have served in the military.

Life University’s dedication to supporting veterans is evident through its groundbreaking partnership with ESGR, numerous initiatives to increase student-Veteran enrollment, commitment to enhancing veteran-patient care, and the introduction of the Veterans Affairs and Engagement Director position. As a Yellow Ribbon Program participant, Life U stands as a beacon of support for those who have served our country. The University’s holistic approach ensures that Veteran students not only excel academically but also receive the support they need to thrive in all aspects of their lives. Life U is not just an institution of higher learning; it is a community that values and honors the contributions of our nation’s heroes.
