Marietta, Georgia, September 13, 2019 – Life University was recognized by the NAIA as a Silver Champions of Character Five-Star Institution award winner Wednesday, September 11. 180 NAIA member institutions were named Champions of Character Five-Star Award winners.
WORLD TEAM MEMBER VICTORIA FRANCIS TO JOIN LIFE U COACHING STAFF THROUGH THE WOMEN’S SPORTS FOUNDATION TARA VANDERVEER FUND
Marietta, Georgia, September 10, 2019 – Life University has received a Tara VanDerveer Fund for the Advancement of Women in Coaching grant from the Women’s Sports Foundation (WSF). Grants were awarded to institutions to support collegiate female coaches on the rise, assisting with living expenses, professional development and mentorship. Life University is one of 10 universities and colleges to receive the grant, which will be designated for a female coaching fellow in women’s sports as diverse as field hockey, wrestling, basketball, volleyball, softball, and strength and conditioning.
PRESIDENT OF INDIA INAUGURATES THE FIRST EVER WORLD YOUTH CONFERENCE FOR KINDNESS BY UNESCO MGIEP
New Delhi, India, August 27, 2019 – The UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP) concluded the first-ever World Youth Conference on Kindness at the Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi on Friday, August 23 on the theme ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: Gandhi for the Contemporary World: Celebrating the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi’. The conference was inaugurated by the Honourable President of the Republic of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, and saw participation from approximately 1,000 youth representing more than 27 countries.

The first class will feature Roger Kaiser (MBKB), Mike Spino (MXC, MT&F), Silah Misoi (MXC, MT&F), Zoila Stewart (WXC, WT&F) and Gary Lambert (MRUGBY).

Marietta, Georgia, July 2, 2019 – Dr. Howard Wright, Life University’s Director of Institutional Research Operations, recently participated in the Harvard University Graduate School of Education’s Management Development Program that ran from June 2-14 on the Cambridge, Massachusetts campus. Each year, a cohort of higher education middle managers inclusive of deans, associate deans, chairs and directors from over the world are accepted into the program. This year’s cohort consisted of 115 participants from 14 different countries ranging from small nonprofit institutions to R1 flagship institutions.
