Marietta, Georgia, November 9, 2020 – We are proud to share that Dr. Georgianna (Geo) Laws, who serves as Board of Directors member of the United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA), is chairing this year’s USDLA National Distance Learning Week (NDLW) event.

We encourage you to attend this free event (register here), joining leaders, faculty, staff and students from around the world as we discuss how to move from surviving to thriving. Registration for event includes access to live streamed sessions and on-demand recordings for one year after the event.

Among others, Dr. Laws will moderate the:

  • Monday, November 9, 11:00 a.m. EST opening keynote, where leadership from the USDA (United States Distance Learning Association), EDEN (European Distance and eLearning Network), ODLAA (Open and Distance Learning Association of Australia), and FLANZ (Flexible Learning Association of New Zealand) will provide opening remarks about the NDLW event as well as the state of distance education in our nation and around the world
  • Friday, November 13, 2:00-3:00 p.m. EST closing keynote, where leadership from the USDA (United States Distance Learning Association), QM (Quality Matters), OLC (Online Learning Consortium), UPCEA (University Professional and Continuing Education Association) and WCET (WICHE Cooperative for Educational Technologies) will discuss the past, present and future of online education and how the pandemic was a catalyst for change.
