Marietta, Georgia, November 13, 2020 – Life University (LIFE) is proud to announce that a new member has been elected to its Board of Trustees. T. Fitz Johnson was appointed to the Board at its meeting on Thursday, October 15, 2020.

Life University’s Board of Trustees comprise some of the greatest minds in Chiropractic, finance, law and education. Their combined experience has helped build LIFE into a leader in vitalistic healthcare education.

Johnson holds a bachelor’s degree from The Citadel Military College of South Carolina, a Master of Education from Troy University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Kentucky College of Law.

A business leader and strategist with more than 30 years of experience driving growth at numerous organizations, nonprofits and small businesses, Johnson currently owns and is the CEO of ASID Group International, which provides experienced professional services to foreign, U.S., state, metropolitan and local sectors.

Johnson is also a member of the Board of Trustees at WellStar Health System and an active member of the Kentucky Bar Association. He is a retired U.S. Army Officer with nearly 22 years of service and is the former owner of the Atlanta Beat women’s professional soccer franchise.

Founded in 1974, Life University is a health sciences institution most known for its Doctor of Chiropractic program, the largest single-campus chiropractic program in the world. Undergraduates can pursue 15 undergraduate degrees as well as a pre-chiropractic, degree-seeking pathway. Three graduate degrees are available, encompassing areas of sport health science, clinical nutrition and positive psychology. Some degree programs are offered to distance learners through the College of Online Education.
