LIFE UNIVERSITY WOMENโ€™S WRESTLING FINISHES SEVENTH AT NAIA NATIONALS โ€“ CROWNS THREE ALL-AMERICANS

Jamestown, North Dakota, March 22, 2019 โ€“ The Life University Womenโ€™s Wrestling team finished seventh at the 2019 NAIA Womenโ€™s Wrestling Invitational, as the program crowned its first three All-Americans.

The 2018-2019 competition season marked a historic milestone for womenโ€™s wrestling in the United States. The NAIA introduced womenโ€™s wrestling as an invitational sport, marking the first time a collegiate governing body officially recognized womenโ€™s wrestling as a sport.

LIFE UNIVERSITY MENโ€™S WRESTLING FINISHES THIRD AT MSC CHAMPIONSHIPS

Bowling Green, Kentucky, February 19, 2019 โ€“ The No. 3 nationally-ranked Life University menโ€™s wrestling team finished third at the 2019 Mid-South Conference (MSC) Menโ€™s Wrestling Championships this past weekend.

Nosomy Pozo finished as the 157 lbs. tournament champion, while also garnering MSC Wrestler of the Tournament honors and First-Team All-MSC for his championship. Pozo earned a pair of pins in the tournament with a flawless 4-0 record and remains 16-0 on the year.

Marietta, Georgia, January 10, 2019 โ€“ Chase Zemenak from the Life University menโ€™s wrestling team was named the NAIA Menโ€™s Wrestler of the Week based on his performance from December 31 to January 6 the league office announced Wednesday afternoon, January 9.
