Chiropractic Founders Day Celebration at Life University

Founders Day is officially September 18, which celebrates the birth of Chiropractic and the founders who began this extraordinary journey we call the chiropractic profession. This  begs the question, however, of why students who are not studying Chiropractic would want to attend this celebration. These College of Graduate and Undergraduate Students have an excellent reason for attending.

Faces of LIFE- Amber Sproule

Amber Sproule grew up in Middle Georgia, and she is the second oldest of five kids. Sproule’s older sister graduated last quarter from the chiropractic program at Life University (Life U), so a vitalistic approach to education clearly runs in the family. “Life University caught my eye because of the holistic and vitalistic values and because it is one of the very few colleges in Georgia that offers dietetics as a degree. I also loved the peaceful campus environment and that it was close to my family,” said Sproule.

Faces of Life – Cheyanne Nance-Butler

Community involvement and making a positive difference means a lot to Cheyanne Nance-Butler. From the beginning of her time here at Life U, she has strived to give back in excellence and out of abundance. Nance-Butler grew up in Portland, Oregon with her brother and her mom. She made her way to Life U by way of South Carolina and a fateful chiropractic assistant position that inspired her to pursue a chiropractic career.

Faces of LIFE – Haley Turpin

Growing up in a family full of college athletes helped Life University Doctor of Chiropractic student Haley Turpin start thinking about how the human body works.

“We love sports,” Turpin said. “We’ve always had great conversations about the body and training, always having that drive to do something bigger and harder, and I’m very thankful that I had family conversations and lessons about that.”
