LIFE UNIVERSITY CREATES GROUNDBREAKING CHIROPRACTIC TECHNOLOGY WITH PAT (PALPATION AND ADJUSTMENT TRAINER)
Marietta, Georgia, June 24, 2020 – Life University (LIFE) is yet again leading the way in chiropractic education with the creation of PAT (Palpation and Adjustment Trainer). Developed by the University’s Dr. Sid E. Williams Center for Chiropractic Research (CCR), PAT is an anatomically accurate, technology-based mannequin with the look, feel, size and weight of an average person.
Christian Barreto
Baretto started at LIFE in Fall 2019. He has explored different clubs such as “Thompson Technique,” “NUCCA” and others. He’s also attended different seminars where he learned many exercises for the mind and body that he hopes to use in his future practice.
Kjell Paris
Kjell Paris is a 12th quarter Doctor of Chiropractic Student at Life University. He is from Braunschweig, Germany and has a brother who is two and a half years younger who is also in the DC program. “My dad is a chiropractor, and my mom is an elementary school teacher, so we are ‘chiropractic babies.’” Paris shared. “We were adjusted the first day we were born, which is pretty awesome.”
Shay Coffey
“I love the philosophy that LIFE has where if you walk by someone, you speak,” shared Coffey. “Every relationship starts with that first conversation. A couple of hellos can lead to a lunch, and a lunch can lead to a lifetime friendship.”
My 1st Quarter: Kjell Paris
Advice I would give to my younger self includes being open minded and as outgoing as possible. At that point, the universe is going to take care of you because whatever you put out there is what will come back to you. Try to say “Yes” to as many things as possible.

Marietta, Georgia, April 23, 2020 – Life University’s Center for Chiropractic Research (CCR) recently launched a COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) resource website. The resource site – designed with chiropractors in mind – provides links to government agencies and chiropractic-specific organizations, resources for practicing chiropractors, and scientific abstracts of chiropractic and immune system related research.
