Researching the Art of the Adjustment with Dr. Brent Russell – Podcast
Dr. Brent Russell is something of an institution here at Life University, first as an alumnus, then as a Faculty Clinician and now as a Research Professor that wears many hats for the Research Department. He leads the team that conducts research on “The Art of the Adjustment”, with the overarching goal of contributing to a breadth of research knowledge on what is exactly going on during an adjustment, how much force is involved and the potential benefits etc. The Palpation and Adjustment Trainer (PAT) became a big piece of that equation during the Covid 19 pandemic and beyond, and continues to be a tool with immense research and student practice capabilities.
LIFE UNIVERSITY’S CENTER FOR CHIROPRACTIC RESEARCH SEEKS PARTICIPANTS FOR COLON CANCER STUDY
July 28, 2023 – Marietta, Georgia – Life University’s Dr. Sid E. Williams Center for Chiropractic Research (CCR) is currently seeking participants for a study to examine the effects of chiropractic care on patients with colon cancer.

Clive, Iowa– March 28, 2023 – The NCMIC Foundation has named four individuals as the 2023 winners of the Jerome F. McAndrews, D.C., Memorial Research Fund Award. One of these awards was presented to Dr. Stephanie Sullivan, Life University (Life U) Director of the Sid E. Williams Center for Chiropractic Research, at the Association of Chiropractic Colleges Educational and Research Agenda Conference (ACC-RAC), held March 23-25, at the Sheraton Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Faces of LIFE: Dr. Patrick Greco
Dr. Patrick Greco graduated from Life University (Life U) in December 1998 with a Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree. He is originally from New Jersey and an only child. He comes from what he lovingly and humorously refers to as a “great family, Italian background from Northern New Jersey, total Sopranos.”
Exploring Research Through the Eyes of Life U Students – College of Chiropractic
Dr. Shaleigh McBride, who worked in a recovery inpatient treatment center while attending Life U, has a background in counseling and a master’s in clinical mental health. Her goal was to work with patients to see how Chiropractic could be introduced to help in a drug treatment facility. She originally worked as a therapist and specialized in behavioral disorders before she transitioned to working with clients who were suffering from drug addiction.
Faces of LIFE- Dr. Tom Le Lievre
Dr. Tom Le Lievre was born in Jersey in the Channel Islands, a self-governing dependency of the United Kingdom (UK). As a student-athlete, Dr. Le Lievre became a patient of Jean-Pierre Meersseman, D.C., the former Medical Team Director at AC Milan football club, and developed an interest in Chiropractic through that experience.
LIFE UNIVERSITY ALUMNA AND FACULTY MEMBER DR. CHRISTIE KWON AWARDED 2021 RESEARCHER OF THE YEAR AWARD FROM ICA’S UPPER CERVICAL COUNCIL
Marietta, Georgia, August 20, 2021 – Life University (Life U) alumna and faculty member Dr. Christie Kwon was presented the 2021 Researcher of the Year Award last Saturday, August 14 from the International Chiropractic Association’s (ICA) Upper Cervical Council. Dr. Kwon was chosen as the recipient of this award by the council from a group of nominees.
