HOT SHOOTING LEADS MEN’S BASKETBALL IN UPSET OVER NO. 10 CAMPBELLSVILLE
Waleska, Georgia, January 18, 2019 – The Life University Men’s Basketball team used a strong second half run to pull off the 82-68 upset over No. 10 nationally-ranked Campbellsville University in their Mid-South Conference matchup Thursday night, January 17. Life U improved to 13-7 (3-1) on the year, while Campbellsville fell to 16-3 (2-2).
LIFE UNIVERSITY ATHLETICS EXCEEDS ACADEMIC MILESTONES
Marietta, Georgia, January 15, 2019 – The Life University Athletic Department set new milestones academically with the conclusion of the 2018 Fall Quarter. The department had a record 266 student-athletes named to the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll (3.0 or above), with 43 Running Eagles earning a perfect 4.0 in the classroom.
LIFE UNIVERSITY’S CHASE ZEMENAK NAMED NAIA MEN’S WRESTLER OF THE WEEK
Marietta, Georgia, January 10, 2019 – Chase Zemenak from the Life University men’s wrestling team was named the NAIA Men’s Wrestler of the Week based on his performance from December 31 to January 6 the league office announced Wednesday afternoon, January 9.
