In a coordinated effort to promote gratitude and community among the Life University (Life U) community, we have taken time during the month of November 2025 to share with one another what we are thankful for, both within the bounds of the University and beyond.

Dr. Brian McAulay kicked off this festive endeavor in a special McAulay Minute, which you can tune into here if you missed it or at Living.Life.edu.

The Life University community has shared a number of heartwarming anecdotes and memories this month, but here are a few that have stuck out:

“I am deeply grateful for my amazing Student Accounts team — a group of empowered, knowledgeable professionals who never hesitate to engage in student advocacy, process improvement and meaningful collaboration. Your dedication to supporting our students, colleagues and one another inspires me every day. I’m truly thankful to be part of your professional journeys and to witness the impact you make across our community.”

“To me, who has spent almost three decades at LU, the University is a trail-blazing pioneer institution winning our love and gratitude for five decades of unique health-care service. I salute founders Drs. Sid and Nell Williams for making America think of the Chiropractic option in health modalities for curing people of numerous kinds of aches and restoring wellness. Their foresight deserves our hearty salute! May this 6th decade of LU bring it lots of progress and prosperity which it deserves in full measure,”

Sudhanva Char, Adjunct Professor, Biostatistics, Nutrition Department

“I’m thankful to celebrate my one-year anniversary at Life U this week. It is a profound blessing to be surrounded by people who support one another and serve with compassion, kindness, and courage. I see this across all facets of the organization, from our students and faculty to our staff and partners. It’s rewarding to tackle challenging problems alongside my wonderful team and others at Life U who share a greater sense of purpose.”

“Forever grateful for my housing and residence life team. October is hard for me as I try to celebrate my birthday as well as the second year of losing my mom to breast cancer. My staff has been nothing but positive making sure every day I stay motivated and determined, to ensure that our students are taken care of. Their love and compassion has kept me going and I am forever and eternally grateful for them! Can’t wait for many more years.”

“I am thankful for the opportunity to serve alongside a community that embraces diversity and seeks to help others find their Lasting Purpose. The idea of giving out of abundance expecting nothing in return has been something I have long strived to do and the opportunity to embrace that alongside others who are pursuing the same thing is truly an opportunity that I am thankful for.”
