Marietta, Georgia, December 3, 2019 – The Life University Athletic Department celebrated a record number of fall student-athletes who were recognized by the Mid-South Conference with Academic All-Conference honors. A department-high 39 received recognition.
In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status.
The Men’s Soccer program led the way, as the Running Eagles picked up a program-record 17 athletes on the list. They also led the Mid-South Conference with the most student-athletes earning the award.

Marek Beno, Bastian Buechler, Dawson Butcher, Matteo Carosella, Martin Cortes, Mauro DeLaCruz, Eddy Diaz, Reyes Hernandez, Ricardo Lawrence, Jamie Lightfoot, Davis Magee, Juan Nabor, Albert Nimako, Fabian Pekruhl, Wessly Soronellas, Spencer Surmont and Luka Zakarija.
The Women’s Soccer program also had an outstanding showing with 15 student-athletes earning the honor. The Running Eagles finished fourth in the Mid-South Conference for the total number of student-athletes they had make the list.

Five student-athletes from the Women’s Volleyball team and two student-athletes from the Women’s Cross Country team were recognized for their academic achievements. These individuals are listed below:
