Faces of Life U: Dr. Curtis Criswell

Ohio born and raised, Dr. Curtis Criswell exhibited a fair amount of bravery and admirable faith when he decided to embark on an entirely new career path in an entirely different part of the country. Until his July 2020 dual enrollment at Life University (Life U) to work toward his undergraduate and D.C. degrees, Dr. Criswell had dedicated his professional endeavors to marketing, manufacturing and real estate. The path that led him to the chiropractic profession is a somewhat familiar one, echoed across many stories from future and alumni Life U chiropractors.

Needless to say, many of us grew up with southern comfort food as part of our culture and our plates. Yet, it isn’t a secret that the southerner’s diet plan isn’t exactly the healthiest or most sustainable on a regular basis. Dr Peng “Fresh” Li has been involved with the Chinese Olympic Committee for over 6 years, representing chiropractors of Life University in a collaborative agreement to provide chiropractic care to the Chinese Olympic Committee. He recently worked with athletes in the Paris 2024 Olympics to help support and improve performance. It is quite an achievement, especially as chiropractic awareness in China is somewhat in its infancy, with less that 50 practicing chiropractors operating in the country by Dr. Li’s estimation.
