Preparing for Sustainable Success with Life University Athletics
For many students who are fortunate enough to call themselves a Life University (Life U) Running Eagle, peak athletic performance is paramount to personal and professional success. Life U is honored to support a student-athlete population that accounts for 25% of total enrollment, according to the Fall Quarter 2024 Factbook.. To put that more into perspective, 60% of undergraduate students at Life U are classified as student-athletes. Bottom line, that’s a huge segment of the Life U community that puts their all into participating in both collegiate athletics and academics at a high level.
Faces of Life U: Farrah Bowman
Farrah Bowman identified with Life U’s philosophy, particularly with Vitalism. The concept of vitalism – essentially meaning that the body is self-healing and self-maintaining as long as interferences are removed – stood out to her as it perfectly articulated her personal understanding of true health care.
LIFE UNIVERSITY PRESIDENT DR. BRIAN MCAULAY ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENTS TO THE LIFE UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF CHIROPRACTIC ADVISORY BOARD
Marietta, Georgia — November 6, 2025 — Dr. Brian McAulay, President of Life University, is pleased to announce the appointment of the following chiropractors to the Life University College of Chiropractic Advisory Board:
McAulay Minute- 30 Days of Thanks

So, I’d like to invite every member of the Life U community to join me in kicking off 30 Days of Thanks beginning Monday November 3.”
Hounds and Halloween Fun: Life U’s First Pet Parade
Let’s give a howl for Halloween at Life University! To kick off the festivities, Life U hosted a furry and frenzied Pet Parade yesterday, October 30, 2025. Participants from the Life U community and their four-legged companions took to Lyceum Park and made a bee-line to the Path of Heroes for puppy treats and fun photos. To get in the Halloween spirit, we have a gallery of ghostly snaps for cuteness overload. Happy Halloween and have a safe weekend!
McAulay Minute- C3 Neuro Summit
Chiropractic is one of the best-kept secrets in health care, despite more than a century of clinical observation and patient satisfaction because there’s still a gap in clinical research. I’m proud that Life U is stepping in to fill it through CHARLI, the Complementary Healthcare Advanced Research and Leadership Institute. CHARLI is not only filling that gap but also working to better integrate Chiropractic into the larger healthcare landscape.
McAulay Minute- Life University Safety Pin (Podcast)
Dr. Brian McAulay: “For chiropractors, the safety pin is a simple illustration of the nervous system and the perfection of its complex design. In the chiropractic metaphor, a closed safety pin represents the nervous system at ease. But perhaps the open pin is an even better symbol of the mission of our College of Chiropractic.
As former Life U president Dr. Guy Riekeman explained when the pin was donated, its open form represents our commitment to serve until everyone on Earth who needs chiropractic care – or a chiropractic education – has access to it and only then will the pin be closed. That’s a bold vision, and it feels almost as if the Universe gave us the perfect symbol to represent it.”
LIFEforce Weekends: Recharging the Force
Anyone who has worked for or studied at Life University (Life U) for any time has most likely heard about LIFEforce. What is it exactly? Is it a Star Wars reference or a new brand of superheroes? Not exactly, though they do represent a noble mission and cause. The mission statement of LIFEforce is simple but powerful: “We will not stop until everyone on the planet has access to chiropractic care and a chiropractic education if they so choose.”
