The College of Online Education (COE) is pleased to announce a new addition to Life University, Dr. Rochelle Rothman, who will serve as the college’s instructional designer.

More specifically, Dr. Rothman will be responsible for overseeing quality in online instructional design. While rounding off our COE team, she will support our mission of providing a high-quality, global online educational experience, based on a vitalistic philosophy, that maximizes each student’s innate potential to pursue their goals and assume roles in leadership and the workplace through the application and principles of Lasting Purpose.

Dr. Rothman brings 15 years of experience in education in a variety of positions that include: special education teacher, district trainer, director, dean and instructional designer. She holds a Doctorate and Specialist degree in Teaching and Learning from Liberty University. Most recently, she completed a three-year contract in the United Arab Emirates working with the local school system to create and implement a teacher certification program.

Dr. Rothman’s primary areas of focus are adult education, distance learning and student satisfaction/retention. She lives in Central Florida and enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. Please join us in giving Dr. Rothman a warm welcome!
