Anyone who has worked for or studied at Life University (Life U) for any time has most likely heard about LIFEforce. What is it exactly? Is it a Star Wars reference or a new brand of superheroes? Not exactly, though they do represent a noble mission and cause. The mission statement of LIFEforce is simple but powerful: “We will not stop until everyone on the planet has access to chiropractic care and a chiropractic education if they so choose.”
LIFEforce is a community of chiropractors committed to mentoring and referring prospective chiropractic students to Life U to reenergize the chiropractic profession with principled, vitalistic chiropractors. Structured chiropractic education is crucial to replenish an aging chiropractic workforce. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the United States only had 57,200 chiropractors serving its population in 2024, a number that continues to trend downward. Worldwide, access to chiropractic care is much worse, in many cases, nonexistent.
In order to turn the tide and gain a stronger foothold for Chiropractic nationally and worldwide, LIFEforce doctors start by making targeted efforts in their communities. Yet, before they can effectively spread the word, they must receive encouragement and insight from fellow LIFEforce tribe members to strengthen their unified mission and resolve. That is where LIFEforce Weekends come in.
LifeFORCE Weekends are packed with opportunities to learn more about Life University, in order to better convey its vision and values for our profession, as well as our beautiful campus and programs. It’s a chance to share your passion for Chiropractic, connect with fellow LifeFORCE doctors and experience inspiring guest speakers throughout the weekend.
LIFEforce weekend typically runs concurrently with Life Leadership Weekend (LLW), Life U’s premier quarterly prospective chiropractic student event. LLW offers prospective chiropractic students an in-depth look at the chiropractic profession and the kind of chiropractic education provided at Life U. This means that LIFEforce doctors may see prospective students whom they referred to the program, as well as interact with the compelling leaders that make up Student LIFEforce (SLF). During combined LLW and LIFEforce Weekends, Student LIFEforce leaders not only impart wisdom to would-be students, but they also receive wisdom from practicing chiropractors during networking opportunities such as these. It is truly a rewarding full circle.
LIFEforce doctors are only asked to attend a minimum of one LIFEforce Weekend per year, but these are truly thought-provoking events that you do not want to miss.
