He teaches composition and literature courses, as well as LFS 105, Academic Strategies. He also writes about music and poetry for several Georgia publications. He is currently writing a book about DB Records, the independent Atlanta music label that helped give birth to new wave, punk, and other left-of-the-dial sounds.
