LIFE Adjunct Professor of Business Dr. Marla Thompson, Assistant Professor of Business and Business Program Coordinator Marie A. Powell and Assistant Professor of Business Ronald G. Ware also gave presentations on leadership during the three-day event.

LIFE UNIVERSITY WOMEN’S WRESTLING FINISHES SEVENTH AT NAIA NATIONALS – CROWNS THREE ALL-AMERICANS

Jamestown, North Dakota, March 22, 2019 – The Life University Women’s Wrestling team finished seventh at the 2019 NAIA Women’s Wrestling Invitational, as the program crowned its first three All-Americans.

The 2018-2019 competition season marked a historic milestone for women’s wrestling in the United States. The NAIA introduced women’s wrestling as an invitational sport, marking the first time a collegiate governing body officially recognized women’s wrestling as a sport.

LIFE UNIVERSITY MEN’S WRESTLING FINISHES THIRD AT MSC CHAMPIONSHIPS

Bowling Green, Kentucky, February 19, 2019 – The No. 3 nationally-ranked Life University men’s wrestling team finished third at the 2019 Mid-South Conference (MSC) Men’s Wrestling Championships this past weekend.

Nosomy Pozo finished as the 157 lbs. tournament champion, while also garnering MSC Wrestler of the Tournament honors and First-Team All-MSC for his championship. Pozo earned a pair of pins in the tournament with a flawless 4-0 record and remains 16-0 on the year.

LIFE UNIVERSITY’S CHASE ZEMENAK NAMED NAIA MEN’S WRESTLER OF THE WEEK

Marietta, Georgia, January 10, 2019 – Chase Zemenak from the Life University men’s wrestling team was named the NAIA Men’s Wrestler of the Week based on his performance from December 31 to January 6 the league office announced Wednesday afternoon, January 9. He is the second wrestler in program history to receive this honor.
