Faces of Life U: Esa Tsoi
In something of a university meet-cute, Esa Tsoi played an away volleyball game against Life U and quickly became charmed by her scenic, compelling surroundings. She keenly remembers asking a teammate about the prominent sculpture that serves as a key campus landmark, the detailed bronze hands that she later learned were modeled after Life U founder Dr. Sid Williams performing a toggle adjustment. That is when Tsoi learned about Life U’s rich chiropractic history, unearthing a latent curiosity in chiropractic care and holistic healing from career talks she had participated in back in high school.

LIFE UNIVERSITY HOLDS FIRST-EVER ON-CAMPUS CHIRO GAMES
Marietta, Georgia – August 4, 2025 – Mind, Body and Skill; These are three pillars that the Life University (Life U) Doctor of Chiropractic program seek to develop in their students and also served as inspiration for the first ever on-campus Life U Chiro Games. The 1st annual Chiro Games took place this weekend on August 1 and 2nd, 2025. The teams going for the gold were compromised of the many varied clubs and organizations on campus, extremely excited to engage in good natured competition and camaraderie with the rest of the Life U community.

Psychology, Chiropractic and Student Ambassadors with Dr. Lisa Rubin – Podcast
You don’t have to be a chiropractor to be a champion for Chiropractic. Dr. Lisa Rubin has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and she is a licensed clinical psychologist and professional counselor who has worked in a variety of clinic settings. Dr. Rubin joined the Life U family in 2001 along with her husband Dr. Drew Rubin. Dr. Lisa Rubin is an adjunct faculty member in the College of Chiropractic who teaches Psychology to future chiropractors, among other things.
Exploring Student LIFEforce and Student Ambassadors
Student LIFEforce (SLF) is an extension of LIFEforce, involving Life U students who are passionate about Chiropractic and feel called to support Life U by sending students to the University and shifting the healthcare paradigm in the world.

Dr. Lisa Rubin is a member of the Life U faculty whose professional and personal trajectories have had deep ties with the university. She is also a member of the community who has consistently been involved in, and taken leadership roles within university organizations.
My First Quarter: Sarai Camacho
My advice for new students would be to dive deep. What I mean by that is to expose yourself to everything you can handle to figure out what you want. Do all the clubs and organizations that you feel interested in. This will give you certainty that when you pick a lens for which you want to look at Chiropractic through, you will be unshaken in your reasoning.
