Life University’s Lights of Life Holiday Light Show To Begin Thanksgiving Night
November 7, 2023 – Marietta, Georgia – On November 2, Life University (Life U) President Dr. Rob Scott and Provost and Chief Academic Officer Dr. Jana Holwick accepted the official charter from the Mortar Board Honor Society.
Faces of LIFE– Kelsey Asher
Kelsey Asher is one of two new Integrated Content Creators in the Marketing Department at Life University (Life U). She began working at Life U in January of 2022. Asher also just celebrated her first wedding anniversary to Taylor Smith this past May. A search for spiritual connection brought Asher and her husband together, and they continue to grow in their faith.
Lights of LIFE Starts This Week!
Lights of LIFE runs every day from Thanksgiving (November 25) to New Years’ Eve (December 31). For the uninitiated, the Lights of LIFE display is much more than an all-star display of festive and creative Christmas lights (which of course it is).
8th ANNUAL RUN THE LIGHTS OF LIFE 5K AT LIFE UNIVERSITY
November 4, 2021 – Life University (Life U) is thrilled to host the 8th Annual Run the Lights of LIFE 5K on the Life U campus, Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 1269 Barclay Circle, Marietta GA 30060. This 5K run has become a huge community tradition with many bringing their entire families to enjoy this fun and healthy way to celebrate the holiday season.
LIFE UNIVERSITY CONNECTS WITH THE COMMUNITY THROUGH 32nd ANNUAL LIGHTS OF LIFE
Marietta, Georgia, November 2, 2021 – Beginning on Thanksgiving night, Life University (Life U) will once again greet thousands of visitors to its Marietta campus for Lights of LIFE. Life U gives thanks to to the local community, as well as those who travel from other states, who have been loyally returning to campus many of the past 32 years. The University also welcomes all newcomers to enjoy a spectacular holiday light show and festivities. Lights of LIFE has grown to be one of the most popular light shows in the Southeast, attracting nearly half a million spectators from the surrounding region.
LIFE UNIVERSITY HOLDS PHYSICALLY DISTANT FALL 2020 COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES FOR UNDERGRADUATE, GRADUATE AND CHIROPRACTIC COLLEGES
Marietta, Georgia, December 18, 2020 – Life University (LIFE) conferred 182 degrees upon one associate degree graduate, 33 bachelor’s degree graduates, 18 master’s degree graduates and 130 Doctor of Chiropractic graduates in two physically distanced ceremonies held at the Cobb Galleria Centre on Friday, December 18, 2020.
LIFE UNIVERSITY ATHLETICS HEADED TO SOUTHERN STATES ATHLETIC CONFERENCE IN 2022-23
Marietta, Georgia, December 17, 2020 – Life University (LIFE) is proud to announce that the Life University Athletic Department will transition to become a member of the Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC) in the 2022-23 academic year.
SEVENTH ANNUAL RUN THE LIGHTS OF LIFE TO BE HELD THIS WEEKEND
Marietta, Georgia, December 15, 2020 – The seventh annual Life University (LIFE) Run the Lights of LIFE 5K/1K race will be held this Sunday, December 20, 2020. This is the first year that annual event has been rescheduled and will be held off campus.

“Ask yourself why you are in this space,” Getter said. “How are we going to get you to that why? You have to be open to being counseled around that because it is never just about the money; it is about your purpose. If your purpose is in sync with the donor’s perspective, they are going to support you because they have been where you are.” To that end, she shared that Life University’s core values that are engrained in the campus culture – Integrity, Vitalism and Lasting Purpose – help students get clear on their position and purpose and help them find that “why” they’ve been looking for.
