Atlanta, Georgia – February 11, 2026- Life University proudly participated in Georgia Chiropractic Association (GCA) Capitol Day yesterday morning on February 10, 2026, celebrating chiropractic’s vital role in advancing the health and well-being of Georgians. Dr. Gilles LaMarche, Vice President of University Advancement, was joined by a small but enthusiastic group of students in representing the University alongside members of the Georgia Chiropractic Association (GCA), including President Dr. Winston Carhee and Executive Director Stephani Tucker.

Though chiropractic students may not always be aware of it, there is a tremendous amount of labor and political advocacy that goes into protecting their rights to practice in the most fair and advantageous manner possible. Modern chiropractors owe much to the tireless work of chiropractic associations. In fact, without the efforts of chiropractic associations over the profession’s storied history, it is likely the profession would not have survived and thrived as it has. Historically, many chiropractic associations were formed out of a necessity to define chiropractic principles, defend chiropractors’ rights to practice and fight for advancement of the chiropractic profession.
Two Life University Alumni Elected to Georgia State House of Representatives
