LIFE UNIVERSITY RESEARCH PUBLISHES EXTREMITY MOVEMENTS STUDY
Marietta, Georgia –December 4, 2025- Researchers from Life University’s (Life U) Dr. Sid E. Williams Center for Chiropractic Research have recently published the third in a series of three articles based on a study of motion and forces of side-posture adjustments performed at Life U. It is titled “Kinematic assessment of hip, shoulder, and elbow movements of a chiropractor performing side posture adjustments: results from a biomechanical analysis.” The article is now available online and can be downloaded or read at this link on ScienceDirect before December 6, 2025.

RISE Scholarship recipient Mackenzie Keller worked with Dr. Russell on the second phase of this research. They performed 15 more adjustments with Keller’s involvement, adding to eight adjustments recorded in Phase I.
