Karen Pfeifer has worked in a number of sports related careers, as a athletic trainer, an administrator and as an educator at different and overlapping points. She currently teaches Physiological Therapeutics courses in the Master of Sport Health Science and Doctor of Chiropractic programs. Our Sports Health Science department is currently examining the best possible ways to get students career ready in the future, which could lead to some exciting changes.

Dr. Blake Livingood graduated in 2009 from the Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C) program at Life University (Life U). He also married his wife Jessica that year, and together, they embarked on a journey to create their practice, named Triangular Health Center, which opened on August 9, 2010.

Hill is excited to start the next part of his career after graduation. โI want to work in an integrative environment after school,โ Hill described. โI love the doctor-patient relationship that is one-on-one and encourages people to live to their optimal health. I really want to inject positivity into the world with things like random acts of kindness.”

To hear Zane Gray speak, you might think that both he and his wife, Kathryn, are both studying to become Doctors of Chiropractic at Life University. However, that is not the case โฆ they just make a remarkable team.

โI was working in the athletic training field, but I found that it was too slow paced for me and had begun thinking of alternatives. I asked my stepdad for advice, and he talked to the (traditional medicine) doctors that he works with and asked what they would do if they could do it over, and the majority of them said that they would be chiropractors!โ
Kain Queck
โI always planned to become a chiropractor,โ states Doctor of Chiropractic student Kain Queck. From Fontanelle, Iowa, Queck holds an undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Northern Iowa. He says that he originally decided to attend school there since it offered a dual-enrollment program with Palmer College of Chiropractic, but after speaking with several practicing chiropractors, they all referred him to Life University for his chiropractic studies.
