As the sun rises over the picturesque campus of Life University in Marietta, Georgia, an air of excitement and anticipation fills the atmosphere. It’s Graduation Day, a momentous occasion that marks the culmination of years of hard work, dedication and personal growth for the graduating class. This day is more than just a ceremony; it is a celebration of achievements, dreams realized and the beginning of new journeys. 

Graduation Day is a testament to the relentless pursuit of excellence by Life University’s students. Each graduate has navigated a unique path, overcoming challenges, seizing opportunities and embracing the values that Life University stands for. They are committed to living Life U’s foundational value of Lasting Purpose: giving, doing, loving and serving, from their own abundance. From rigorous academic coursework to hands-on clinical experiences, these graduates have been prepared to make a significant impact in their respective fields.

The festivities begin with a procession of graduates, faculty and dignitaries, all dressed in their academic regalia. The graduates walk through the tunnel of fog to dramatically enter the stage area, where their families and friends gather, in the audience and online. These families’ and friends’ faces are beaming with pride as they watch their loved ones walk toward the stage. The atmosphere is electric, filled with cheers, applause and the occasional tear of joy.

The ceremony opens with dramatic bag pipers and drum corps leading the way and inspiring addresses from our university President, Dr. Rob Scott, and our university Provost, Dr. Jana Holwick, who both reflect on the journey of the graduates and the bright futures that lie ahead. 

One of the highlights of Graduation Day is the recognition of outstanding achievements. Our valedictorians of both schools, the College of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies (CGUS) and the College of Chiropractic (COC), each give awe-inspiring speeches. 

As the graduates receive their diplomas, there is a sense of accomplishment and a renewed sense of purpose. They are now ready to step into their chosen professions, equipped with the knowledge and skills they have gained at Life University. Whether they are entering the healthcare field, pursuing further studies or embarking on entrepreneurial ventures, these graduates are poised to make a positive impact on the world. 

Graduation Day is also a celebration of the Life University community. It is a time to acknowledge the support and encouragement provided by faculty, staff, family and friends. The collective effort of this community has played a crucial role in the success of each graduate, and their achievements are a shared triumph.
