Mark your calendars for Thursday, September 12, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for a special celebration at Life University’s Socrates Café. Hosted by the Student Ambassadors and the President’s Office, this year’s Chiropractic Founders Day event is an occasion that promises to be both inspiring and enriching for the entire Life U community.
What is Chiropractic Founders Day?
Chiropractic Founders Day commemorates the birth of chiropractic care, marking the day in 1895 when Daniel David (D.D) Palmer performed the first chiropractic adjustment. This groundbreaking moment laid the foundation for a healthcare discipline that has since grown into a vital part of the healthcare field, with chiropractors ranking among the highest healthcare practitioners in Net Promoter Score (NPS), a market research metric that measures customer loyalty and satisfaction by asking respondents how likely they are to recommend a company, product or service to others (see ranking here).
Top Three Reasons Everyone Should Attend!
- Honor the Legacy: By attending, you’ll be paying tribute to the pioneers of chiropractic care. It’s a chance to reflect on the journey from the first adjustment to the advanced techniques and practices we benefit from today.
- Community Building: Events like these are crucial for strengthening our Life U community. Meeting fellow students, faculty and staff in a relaxed setting fosters a sense of belonging and collaboration.
