Thinking Beyond the Next Test to the Big Picture, with Dr. Stephen Paterno – Podcast
Pretty much no one likes the idea of undergoing rigorous, nail-biting testing to prove just how well they are understanding complex concepts. However, that is a major reality of chiropractic education, a necessary one to help ensure new chiropractors will be prepared to treat patients effectively and safely. The first comprehensive test that chiropractic students take at Life U is usually the OSCE in 12th quarter, designed to prepare students for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) exams and primarily modeled after Part IV in style. Dr. Stephen Paterno is the Director of Clinical Assessment, discussing the role of assessment, proper preparation and retention of knowledge in future success as a chiropractic practitioner.

From Chiropractic Patient to Champion for Chiropractic, with Jodeci Ybarra – Podcast

She feared having to live with mobility issues for the remainder of her life, but after seeing a chiropractor, she began to experience relief. Eventually that led her to pursue chiropractic education, Life University and now a leadership role as a Student Ambassador.

My First Quarter: Sarai Camacho
My advice for new students would be to dive deep. What I mean by that is to expose yourself to everything you can handle to figure out what you want. Do all the clubs and organizations that you feel interested in. This will give you certainty that when you pick a lens for which you want to look at Chiropractic through, you will be unshaken in your reasoning.
