Freaky Fridays Events Encourage Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration
Freaky Fridays is a cross-disciplinary creative discussion and dialogue series, originally proposed by the Psychology Department with Life University’s (Life U) College of Graduate and Undergraduate Studies (CGUS). This is an innovative way to build community, learn from one another, and keep Friday fun and exciting for students and faculty. The topics and hosts vary, so stay tuned for more updates.
Research as a means to address deep questions, with Dr. Christie Kwon – Podcast
Dr. Christie Kwon has been exploring various paths of meaningful research for much of her career. She is a full-time faculty member and Research Chair at Life University, among other vital roles inside and outside of the University. Today she joins this special research series with Dr. Veronica Garcia-Chapparo and co-host Erin Gilligan to discuss the importance of defining what questions a researcher would personally like to have answered, as a personal connection to a research topic makes the task that much more tangible.
LIFE UNIVERSITY ALUMNA AND FACULTY MEMBER DR. CHRISTIE KWON AWARDED 2021 RESEARCHER OF THE YEAR AWARD FROM ICA’S UPPER CERVICAL COUNCIL
Marietta, Georgia, August 20, 2021 – Life University (Life U) alumna and faculty member Dr. Christie Kwon was presented the 2021 Researcher of the Year Award last Saturday, August 14 from the International Chiropractic Association’s (ICA) Upper Cervical Council. Dr. Kwon was chosen as the recipient of this award by the council from a group of nominees.
