November 3, 2023 – Marietta, Georgia – Life University (Life U) has created a new online Master of Business Administration & Positive Leadership (MBA), with the inaugural cohort of students beginning their studies in the 2024 Winter Quarter.
The Life U MBA & Positive Leadership program incorporates the essentials of positive psychology, which include personal well-being, resilience and goal-setting principles, into a robust business curriculum.
The outcome is a comprehensive academic experience that extends far beyond traditional business concepts, inspiring students to reach their full potential both as successful business professionals and as individuals. The framework of leadership as coaching is examined throughout the program.
Setting Life U’s online MBA apart from the field further, the faculty has integrated the philosophy of Vitalism and the principle of Lasting Purpose, which are central values of Life U, into the course design and instruction of the online MBA program.
Required courses include MBUS 5100- Managerial Accounting for Social Impact, MBUS 5200- Ethical Investment and Capital Budgeting and MBUS 5700- Socially Responsible Branding and Promotion. Students will complete 45 quarter hours of required courses and choose 15 quarter hours of elective or concentration courses. The 60-quarter-hour program is designed to be completed in one year of full-time study.
Through this program, students will gain the knowledge and skills to become successful business professionals while also becoming effective and transformational leaders, creating a positive work environment for their employees.
The new program is designed for recent college graduates and professionals who studied business, humanities, arts, social sciences, biological sciences or physical sciences in college and are interested in jobs that value business-oriented skills and knowledge, while at the same time, allowing them to reach their full potential as successful business professionals and individuals. Applications for the first class are open now.
Current Life U BBA students are eligible to take up to two MBA core courses during their senior year if their accumulative GPA is 3.0 or above. Once they are admitted to the MBA program, the two MBA core courses they have taken during their senior year will count toward their MBA degree requirement if the grades earned are B or better.
