It’s truly amazing how Chiropractic can change the trajectory of a person’s life. Puerto Rican native Melanie Reyes- Margolla had a long-standing desire to pursue a chiropractic education after attending a Life Leadership Weekend at Life University, but Hurricane Maria delayed her plans for a year. While working as a teacher in the meantime, she saw firsthand the tremendous healing that a student of hers experienced from chiropractic care and that renewed her resolve. Today she is President of Student LIFEforce, encouraging other prospective and future D.C. students to take that leap of faith. Her goal is to become a Pediatric Chiropractor.

The Diversity Dish: Cultivating Inclusivity for a Healthy Campus Culture, with Dr. Harrison Davis- Podcast
As Chief Diversity Officer and Director of the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (ODEI), Dr. Harrison Davis has quite the responsibility to implement and promote campus policies that are fair and equitable, taking into account the needs of an increasingly complex student body. Dr. Davis details his early efforts to survey the cultural climate at play at Life University, before seeking to improve upon it. His department has since assisted in facilitating numerous cultural events and educational opportunities related to Black History Month, Hispanic Heritage Month, Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month and countless other efforts where appropriate.
