James Osburn, Adjunct Professor of Liberal Studies at Life University, teaches English and Spanish courses. He has lived a fascinating life, serving in the Peace Corps and using his language skills in profound ways. He discusses how becoming bilingual is not only a social asset but often a professional asset as well.

“It goes back to my roots because I grew up with all the spice and herbs, which in our culture is very important. The thing that I love about Life University is that it is holistic and very close to our culture,” Aliahmadi said.
A World of Flavors Courtesy of National Nutrition Month
The theme for 2022 is “Celebrate a World of Flavors.” Life U is making a point to celebrate with delicious and diverse flair, holding several events to kick off this amazing month of health and wellness. The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (also known as Eat Right) promotes National Nutrition Month annually each March to invite people “to learn about making informed food choices and developing healthful eating and physical activity habits.”
