Kallie Corbin

“My life has taken many turns for me to get to where I am now,” exclaims third quarter chiropractic student, Kallie Corbin. Corbin, originally from Portland, Oregon, received a psychology degree while also playing as a Division 1 volleyball player in college. She was the school’s first D1 All-American volleyball player, which then allowed her to go into coaching right out of college.

Todd Strong

Todd Strong always knew that he wanted to go into health care, and at one time, even considered the path of physician’s assistant. While working in a local family practice, however, he saw how the traditional medical system worked and became discouraged with many of its aspects, mostly regarding how patients were treated as if on an assembly line.

To hear Zane Gray speak, you might think that both he and his wife, Kathryn, are both studying to become Doctors of Chiropractic at Life University. However, that is not the case … they just make a remarkable team.

Samenna White

“I visited a couple other schools before choosing Life University, but when I saw that big safety pin and it sunk in what it represented, I knew that LIFE was the place for me.” And that is how Samenna White, nutrition major, made such an important decision about her education when she chose to come to LIFE due to its philosophy about health and nutrition.

Kelli Yates

Kelli Yates, who is currently studying Dietetics here at Life University, changed her mind about her career a few times before coming to LIFE. After high school, Yates started a degree in photography at the Art Institute of Atlanta but moved on to an associate degree in veterinary science while working as a veterinary technician for five years. Next came a foray into personal training before finally settling on dietetics.

Lauren Johnson

Lauren Johnson, always an outspoken proponent of exercise, decided to make Life University the setting for the next phase in her education. After obtaining a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Georgia State University, Johnson is now pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Nutrition at LIFE.

Richaben Patel

“One day I was driving down Cobb Parkway, and I just happened to see a Life University billboard that said, ‘Life University – Turn Right Here,’ and I just turned right to check it out.”

And that is how Richaben Patel, at LIFE obtaining her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, was first introduced to the University.

Richard Forte

“My first chiropractic adjustment took place when I was just a couple minutes old” … and not only was the world introduced to Richard Forte, but he was introduced to Chiropractic at the same time. Forte continues, “As soon as I was born, the doctor saw that I was not breathing, and my lips started turning blue. My mother immediately adjusted my atlas right there on the delivery table and I instantly turned pink and started screaming!”
