Life U Women Authors Celebration

Mark your calendars and/or make plans to contribute to an event in the library celebrating of Women’s History Month. The Williams Library and Title IX Office are going to focus on women in writing, both within and outside of our LIFE community.

AND…as you read the following info, know that the women of LIFE who have published and would like to share their work as part of this event, are invited to contact Chani.Butler@LIFE.edu for more information about applying to display or present their work. 

There will be a display featuring Life U women authors as well as selected women authors, including some whose books have been banned in various setting. 

LIFE alumna, Dr. Telesa Hart, will share spoken word selections and and arrangements will be made for readings by Life U women authors. 

The event will take place in the Library, in front of the Reference area, on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 11-1pm, with the spoken word and author readings taking place from 12-1pm.
