In the Gap: Whether or Not to Take a Gap Year
Here at Life University (Life U), we understand that the educational landscape is constantly in flux, and we make an intentional effort to support the success of all our students, even if they choose to take a less traditional path to their educational journey. One growing deviation from the commonly recognized conduit of completing high school and then immediately enrolling in college is the concept of a gap year. According to Life U’s Fall 2024 Fact Book, our average undergraduate age is 22 years old, so it is fair to assume that some portion of our population is familiar with the practice.

Today we are exploring a team at Life U for this special edition of Faces of LIFE. This team’s entire goal is to serve every student and faculty at Life U. This team of three are members of the Academic Learning Center (ALC), and the goal of this department is to provide resources for Life U students to be successful in their academic careers.

President’s List 2022 Fall Quarter
The President’s List distinction is to any student who has maintained a cumulative GPA of 4.00 for each quarter during the academic year, registered for a minimum of 12 credits for each quarter and completed all credits for all registered courses during each quarter.
Dean’s List 2022 Fall Quarter
The Dean’s list distinction is given to any student who has maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.5-3.99 for each quarter during the academic year, registered for a minimum of 12 credits for each quarter and completed all credits for all registered courses.
