Dr. Shawn Cradit, Associate Professor in the Sport Health Science & Athletic Training programs at Life University (LIFE), interviewed with several schools before coming to work at LIFE in March 2019 because she felt at home. βThe campus really stuck out to me. It wasnβt so big that you felt like you were going to get lost. When I got home, and I was talking to my boyfriend and my sisters, I just kept coming back to how the campus was intimate.β
Christian Barreto
Baretto started at LIFE in Fall 2019. He has explored different clubs such as “Thompson Technique,” βNUCCAβ and others. Heβs also attended different seminars where he learned many exercises for the mind and body that he hopes to use in his future practice.

Sam Clark
βA typical day is always busy. We donβt go nine to five, we often work 12 to 16-hour days. Weβve got to love our families and spouses and kids for understanding that,β said Sam Clark, Head Coach for Womenβs Soccer at Life University, describing her average day at work. βBut there is no typical day, and I think that is one of the most intriguing and most wonderful things about athletics β itβs always a new challenge.β
LIFE UNIVERSITY SWIMMING POSTS HISTORIC WEEKEND AT NAIA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Knoxville, Tennessee, March 9, 2020 β The Life University women’s and men’s swimming programs continued to climb in national placement this weekend at the 2020 NAIA National Championships hosted by the University of Tennessee’s Allan Jones Aquatic Center. The weekend was headlined with Life U’s first ever National Runner-Up in freshman Dora Reizinger.Β
Julia Vidallon
With the goal of winning Nationals in mind, Vidallon created a simple cardboard sign as an inspirational daily reminder. “It helped me think, ‘You are enough; you can achieve these things,’β she recalled. “Winning [a national championship] was really special to me because every single day, I was working so hard toward that goal. It was definitely an amazing experience for sure.β
Mack Beggs
In many ways, Mack Beggs is a typical college student. The 20-year-old is a sophomore at Life University and a student-athlete on the Life U menβs wrestling team, competing for the first season at the collegiate level after redshirting last year. Mack is also Health Science major, studying hard to excel academically.

Marietta, Georgia, February 11, 2020 β The Life University women’s wrestling team brought home second place from the WCWA Championships over the weekend as sophomore Julia Vidallon captured the program’s first WCWA National Championship at 123 lbs.

LIFE UNIVERSITY WOMENβS WRESTLING SET TO HOST WCWA NATIONALS AND PAN AMERICAN OLYMPIC QUALIFIER
Marietta, Georgia, January 31, 2020 β The Life University women’s wrestling team will officially host the WCWA National Championships at the Cobb County Civic Center in Marietta, Georgia on February 7-8, 2020. The event will also play host to a special wrestle-off for the women’s freestyle Pan American Olympic Qualifier spots.
